Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Have the ability to handle all job responsibilities listed above
- Agriculture experience required
- Have the ability to lead and motivate a team with a positive attitude
- Have the ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors
- Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 25lbs continuously throughout the day

- Have the ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors
- Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 25lbs continuously throughout the day
- Should be comfortable working around moving machinery and working in a farm environment with very dusty conditions
Responsibilities
- This position will assist in supervising and ensuring the safe completion of daily work of all members in the barns
- It is the responsibility of the team lead do ensure the health and welfare of the hens
- All tasked need to be overseen and completed by all employees
- The team lead will ensure all tasks have been completed before the end of the shift
- This is a position working in the houses with live animals
- Follow biosecurity practices on all company sites
- Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
- Train new and existing employees
- Watch over assigned chicken houses (includes production, feed, water, pits, mortality and managing housework)
- Monitor employees on team to ensure they follow procedure, complete assigned work, and comply with policies
- Review schedule regularly and determine if duties are being met
- Review pest management, potential disease issues
- Problem solve with supervisor on potential solutions for proper staffing needs
- Other duties as assigned by management
