Qualifications

  • One year of experience as a Technical Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or
  • An Associate’s Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree

Responsibilities

  • In this position, you will undertake technical responsibilities to support the evaluation, analysis, and enhancement of maintenance operations, ensuring alignment with the management’s goals and the established policies and procedures of Fulton County
  • As a Purchasing Cardholder for the County, you will adhere to all departmental guidelines related to the use of the Purchasing Card, meticulously recording, tracking, and coding daily transactions through platforms such as OneDrive and Access
  • Your duties will include placing orders for various items, including office supplies, publications, safety gear like hard hats and vests, and more, while also serving as the SRM Requisitioner
  • Additionally, you will be tasked with overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of automotive repair parts and accessories, which encompass tires, tubes, batteries, lubricants, and other essential items necessary for automotive maintenance and repair operations
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch
  • Completing the application, including all supplemental questions, serves as your exam for this position
