Responsibilities
- The industrial painter is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing towing equipment (such as tow trucks, wreckers, flatbeds and trailers and their parts) to ensure durability, corrosion resistance, and a professional appearance
- The role involves surface preparation, paint application (spray or manual), quality inspection, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations
- Key responsibilities: prepare surfaces by sanding, grinding, cleaning, and applying primers
- Operate spray guns, brushes, and rollers to apply industrial -grade coatings
- Mix paints, solvents, and other materials to achieve required consistency and color
- Follow safety protocols for handling hazardous chemicals and operating equipment
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring smooth and even finishes
- Maintain and clean painting tools, booths, and equipment
- Work with blueprints, work orders, and specifications to meet quality standards
- Perform touch-ups and repairs on painted surfaces as needed
- Follow environment regulation for waste disposal (e.g., paint thinner, solvents)
- ½ hour lunch and two 15 min breaks

Required skills & qualifications: proven experience as an industrial painter (automotive, heavy equipment, or towing industry preferred)
