Responsibilities
- Responsible for all tasks related to the shipping and receiving of goods
- This includes verifying, organizing, and distributing incoming items and preparing outgoing shipments, along with all necessary documentation
- Receive merchandise, verify quality and quantity, and complete delivery paperwork
- Organize and prepare merchandise for shipment, verify weights and skid counts, and generate bills of lading
- After loading, ensure trailer seals match the bill of lading
- Complete all required paperwork, including but not limited to:
- Forklift and rack inspection sheets
- Trailer inspection forms
- Assist with loading and unloading as needed
- Conduct weekly cycle counts of finished product inventory
- Keep the facility clean and organized
- Maintain accurate records in DSI or other computer systems, including:
- Vats and weights for orders
- Truck schedules for outgoing loads
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Perform basic building maintenance
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management team
